Christmas- hopefully a happy time with family and friends. It is thought that an ancient Roman emperor moved the birth of Christ to the “pagan” celebration day Saturnalia to promote Christianity as the official religion of the Roman Empire. I’m sure today’s version would surprise him!
We’ll cover all the bases in this blog starting with the reason for the season and the humble birth of the holy babe.
We must now mention Santa, who with his elves works so hard all year to reward good girls and boys all over the world on that special night!
Of course there is always the food…
and those family and friends we mentioned before.
