Once again Salome dances the head off John the Baptist.
I like the sense of light, space and movement I have achieved with this image. The king and queen react differently to the dance and poor John seems positively horrified!
Here John is spared the indignity of the spectacle. I’m proud of Salome’s dancing here and the solid direct drawing overall.
