As a young artist, I once spent a summer in the country with like-minded friends in an old clapboard house that belonged to my aunt. Here are two landscapes that derive from that time.

There was a creek that ran through a valley nearby, and this was painted from some elevation. l like this honest effort.

Above are farm fields hugging the eroding cliffs of Lake Erie.

  1. Nice! I remember exploring that creek with my brother and dad when I was much younger. The clapboard house is still standing, providing for others.
